Not based on team needs, based purely on ability at position. Top 31 draft-eligible college players. Leave comments or questions at the bottom of the page. Updated 10/1.

  1. Joey Bosa, DE, Ohio State (Jr.) (Prev. 1) - Was suspended for the first game of the year, and hasn't had eye popping numbers thus far. He is relenteless of the edge and every team knows this. Barring injury, he'll go top 5.

  2. Robert Nkemdiche, DL, Ole Miss (Jr.) (6) - If you watched that Alabama game, you saw how special this guy is. 6'5 300lbs, absolute monster and is faster than most defensive tackles in the league.

  3. Jalen Ramsey, CB/S, Florida State (Rs So.) (3) - Projects better as a Safety in the NFL, but is talented enough to play corner as well. Has 4 deflected passes this year, and can also help the return game.

  4. Laremy Tunsil, OT, Ole Miss (Jr.) (2) - Unfortunately hasn't gotten to play this season because of being under fire by the NCAA, but he has been very impressive in his first 2 seasons at Oxford. Ole Miss has been fine without him, but they would be really something with.

  5. Ronnie Staley, OT, Notre Dame (Sr.) (4) - Staley is the best upperclassmen in the draft. He has very long arms, is great in open space, and has helped Notre Dame make the transition from Malik Zaire to DeShone Kizer.

  6. Vernon Hargreaves, CB, Florida (Jr.) (5) - Best pure corner in the draft, and has had a good season up to this point. Already has a pick 6 this year, expect more great plays as the season progresses.

  7. Jaylon Smith, OLB, Notre Dame (Jr.) (14) - One of the most explosive players in college football. Can play inside or outside at the NFL level and has had a great year already, notching sacks, forced fumbles and pass deflections.

  8. Laquon Treadwell, WR, Ole Miss (Jr.) (8) - My favorite wide receiver in this draft. He has good size and good speed. Starting to really come into his own this season after the rough injury.

  9. A'Shawn Robinson, DT, Alabama (Jr.) (9) - Best pure defensive tackle in the class. Great size, very young. Robinson has very high football IQ for his position, and makes it tough for QBs to step up in the pocket.

  10. Mike Thomas, WR, Ohio State (Jr.) (10) - The number one target for Cardale Jones and company behind center. He is a strong kid who isn't scared to go down the middle of the field. Had a great game vs top Corner Kendall Fuller in the opening game.

  11. Jared Goff, QB, California (Jr.) (30) -  The highest riser on everyone's board. He's been spectacular this year so far. The level of competition will increase soon, but he is eyeing a top 5 selection if he keeps this up.

  12. Ezekiel Elliot, RB, Ohio State (Jr.) (7) - He's been overshadowed this year due to the meteoric rise of the Sophomore running backs, but Elliot has had a solid year so far, posting four 100 yard games, and being a polished pass blocker.

  13. Su'a Cravens, S, USC (Jr.) (17) - A safety who has played a lot in the box with the linebackers. Had 17 tackles for a loss last season, and has 2 TFLs and 2 sacks already this season. He's a real playmaker.

  14. DeForest Buckner, DE, Oregon (Sr.) (19) - Scouts last year drooled over Arik Armstead, and he has had a solid season so far with San Fran. Well, Buckner is better than Armstead. The Oregon defense is struggling at the moment, but it's not because of him.

  15. Taylor Decker, OT, Ohio State (Sr.) (12) - Decker is the best offensive lineman on the best team in the nation. Massive 6'8" frame, NFL teams will love his toughness.

  16. Jack Conklin, OT, Michigan State (Jr.) (13) - If Conklin goes first round, he will be the best story inthe NFL draft. Conklin hurt his knee last game, but it isn't season ending. He might miss some time, but he's a tough guy and will go first round if he comes back strong.

  17. Tyler Boyd, WR, Pittsburgh (Jr.) (27) - Boyd missed the first game of the season due to an offseason DUI, which is cause for concern, but he is putting up Larry Fitzgerald numbers at Pitt. Racked up 22 catches in 2 games, and is just really tough to cover.

  18. Shawn Oakman, DL, Baylor (Sr.) (20) - You may know Oakman from that picture at the coin toss, but he is having his best season this year. He missed game 1, but in 2 games he has 5.5 TFLs, 2 Sacks and a forced fumble. If he keeps it up, he will rise fast.

  19. Connor Cook, QB, Michigan State (Sr.) (16) - Cook's stock is sliding a little bit due to Goff's rise, and Cook's lack of clear improvement. His accuracy is sitting at around 58%, and reports about his leadership coming around. His stock is something to watch in the future.

  20. Rashard Higgins, WR, Colorado State (Jr.) (18) - The 2014 Concensus All American is not quite off to the torrid pace he was last season, but he is still averaging 100 yards and a touchdown per contest. Good size, good speed, good nickname too, Hollywood.

  21. Shilique Calhoun, DE, Michigan State (Sr.) (UR) - The leader of the Spartans defense, Calhoun's previous season high in sacks was 8. Through 4 games, he has 4.5 sacks. He is poised for his best year, and his stock will rise.

  22. Josh Doctson, WR, TCU (Sr.) (UR) - Doctson is having his coming out party this year in the high flying Horned Frogs offense. Leading the nation in receiving yards, good size at 6'3". Hopefully he keeps it up.

  23. Leonard Floyd, OLB, Georgia (Rs Jr.) (23) - Floyd might've been a first round pick if he left last year, but he opted to stay in school. Floyd is fast of the edge and as athletic as anyone, he's just a little bit undersized currently.

  24. Reggie Ragland, ILB, Alabama (Sr.) (28) - Ragland is the leader of the Alabama defense. He has 34 tackles so far this year, he has good strength and speed for the position, and is well respected by everyone.

  25. Max Tuerk, C, USC (Sr.) (UR) - Tuerk is said to be the Cam Erving of this year's draft class. Can play all 3 spots on the offensive line, and has great length and quickness.

  26. Andrew Billings, DT, Baylor (Jr.) (UR) - Billings went to Waco as an offensive lineman, but was converted to Defense before his freshman year. He displays a very quick first step, and has had a great start to the season.

  27. Darron Lee, OLB, Ohio State (Jr.) (31) - Lee was a quarterback in HS, now he is the quarterback of the Ohio State Buckeyes defense. Lee had a fantastic playoff, and he has stuffed the stat sheet this year, with a few TFLs, sacks, a pick and a forced fumble.

  28. Adolphus Washington, DT, Ohio State (Sr.) (UR) - If you saw the interception that Washington got this season, you can tell how athletic he is. He is playing at the defensive tackle spot where Michael Bennett played last year, and is having a decent start.

  29. Myles Jack, OLB, UCLA (Jr.) (15) - Jack was the offensive and defensive freshman of the year for the Bruins. He was poised for a huge season, except he suffered a season ending knee injury. If he declares, he could still go in the first round.

  30. Kendall Fuller, CB, Virginia Tech (Jr.) (11) - Really developed corner with good hips and footwork. Scouts wondered why he looked slower versus Ohio State, and it turns out he had a torn meniscus, so he is done. Like Jack, another first round talent if he goes.

  31. Jordan Jenkins, OLB, Georgia (Sr.) (UR) - Having a spectacular start in 2015. He has good size, at 6'3" 250lbs, and he can easily guard a tight end 1v1. His stock is rising fast.
